Don’t Look Into The Abyss is an interactive choose-your-path book designed to emulate the feeling of navigating self-discovery within restrictive structures. In addition to the gamified narrative, Don’t Look Into The Abyss has a number of secrets. Despite the sci-fi visuals, at its core Don’t Look Into The Abyss is an exploration of everyday queerness and what it means to make new choices within established cycles. Alongside the large, accessible book edition printed on a Heidelberg KORS offset lithography press, I crafted a small deluxe edition of enclosures that double as an immersive space to experience the book.
