This artwork is from my current multi-year project LOTS OF FUN WITH FINNEGANS WAKE. The project feeds off and is nourished by James Joyce’s final book, the 628-page novel Finnegans Wake. I am simultaneously looking intently within Joyce’s idiosyncratic language, and investigating how it fits into, or does not fit into, the world outside its sui generis confines. My 628-artwork project yokes together my twinning interests of the illustrative and the intellectual, the visual and the verbal.
